LIN converge at COP 26 to highlight the health risks from climate change facing millions

Researchers and practitioners from the consortium ENBEL converged on a panel Wednesday morning at COP 26 entitled “Colliding Disasters: adapting to increasing climate and health risks.” The panel addressed the present health risks facing millions globally from wildfires, air pollution, heat stress, infectious diseases, and maternal health strain, as well as the impending escalation of these risks in the absence of swift action on climate change.
