Recognized by the World Health Organization & Global Climate Health Alliance

We are honored to have been recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Global Climate Health Alliance (GCHA) Regional Consultations convening team for our CEO Jason Glaser’s contributions to the convening and conduct of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) regional consultation event.

The consultations will inform regional strategies ahead of the COP26 UN climate negotiations this November, and we were grateful to have the opportunity to advocate the importance of occupational protections from heat in a changing climate. Ensuring that jobs are protected from the negative impacts of heat in a warming world is a fundamental component of climate justice, and we are encouraged by the energy and commitment of the Regional Consultations convening team to ensure that this message is a central part of COP26 discussions.
