Partnership Announcement Between Omnis Finclusion Foundation and La Isla Network

Omnis Finclusion Foundation and La Isla Network Join Forces to Address Systemic Socio-Economic and Health Related Challenges Affecting Marginalized Communities in Central America

We are pleased to announce a strategic alliance between La Isla Network (LIN) and Omnis Finclusion Foundation (OFI) to support initiatives that address the structural economic, social, and health-related problems that disadvantaged communities in the Central American region face. Through this relationship, we will work together to develop and implement comprehensive solutions to the issues encountered by underprivileged workers in Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador, particularly women.

La Isla Network has been researching chronic diseases that impact worker populations in Central America for years, developing local response plans, and providing knowledge about these diseases. Workers in the maquiladoras and sugarcane industries frequently suffer from severe disabilities that prevent them from continuing to work, often at an early age. The founders of Omnis Finclusion have spent years working to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services in order to encourage entrepreneurship and self-employment as a path to independence and financial stability.

Together, the health-related solutions from La Isla Network and the digital financial and data aggregation solutions from Omnis Finclusion Foundation offer a more comprehensive strategy for solving some of the structural and basic issues that these marginalized and vulnerable populations face on a regular basis.

Jointly, we can make a bigger difference and create the required change to properly support these vulnerable communities.
