The European Commission will hold a high-level conference on climate and health in Brussels on February 19 and 20. The conference is titled “Research Perspectives on the Health Impacts of Climate Change.”

It comes at the heels of the sunset of the ENBEL Project, a research consortium whose mission was to connect climate and health research to policymaking in order to impel actionable change. Members of the ENBEL Project will present at the conference.

At the event, participants will discuss the current challenges, priorities and needs for research at the interface of climate change and human health. Participants will deepen our understanding of how climate change affects health outcomes and explore how the health sector can contribute to climate change mitigation through research and innovation.
