Dr. Barrak Alahmad is a research fellow at the Harvard School of Public Health. He works on air quality, climate change, and health in the Middle East, specifically the adverse impacts of dust storms, extreme temperatures on migrant worker health. His work is highlighted by organizations such as the WHO and the AHA, and the media. In 2022, he was named in the inaugural list of 40 Under 40 Public Health Catalyst Awardees highlighting rising leaders and innovators of the public health field by the Boston Congress of Public Health. He is from Kuwait.

Dr. Jacob R. Berry is an accomplished U.S. Air Force flight surgeon with an extensive background in occupational and aerospace medicine. His goal is to influence military and occupational medicine through innovative research and operational excellence. Dr. Berry’s experience spans global health integration, medical risk mitigation, and human performance optimization. He was recognized as the USAF Malcolm Grow Flight Surgeon of the Year and has served as Chief of Aerospace Medicine for the 51st Medical Group at Osan Air Base, South Korea. A skilled leader in operational medicine, Dr. Berry directed theatre evacuation for the Department of Defense in Korea, overseeing over 37 missions and ensuring the safe transport of patients with complex injuries. He was the first USAF flight surgeon to deploy with the F-35 fighter, delivering top-tier aeromedical care in austere environments. Dr. Berry is a Harvard-trained occupational medicine specialist, and is recognized in emergency heat response and the prevention of exertional heat injuries.
